Everything Life Path 2 does, Life Path 11 does at higher gain — and the arithmetic tells you why. In the Pythagorean system, the single digits 1 through 9 are the whole working alphabet; a master number is what the tradition calls a base digit carried under load and refused the usual reduction. An 11 is a 2 that never got averaged down to 2. The instinct underneath is still the Diplomat's — partnership, timing, the read on a room before a word is spoken — but doubled into a standing wave, because 11 is two 1s side by side that the tradition reads together rather than summing away. That is the whole temperament: reception at a gain other numbers do not run at. Where a 2 notices the quiet objection, an 11 feels the objection forming, sometimes in a room it has only just walked into. The lineage frames this as intuition, but the more honest word is bandwidth — the 11 takes in more signal per second than it can comfortably process, which is exactly why the reading pairs high perception with high strain.
