Privacy Policy

• Newsletter email. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide so we can send you the newsletter. We do not sell it.
• Contact messages. If you use our contact form, we store your name (optional), email, and message so we can reply.
• Usage analytics. We count public page views, calculator actions and report-button clicks by day, product and a broad source label. Our server also counts checkout creation, confirmed purchases and refunds, without marketing-source attribution. These counters contain no names, birth details, full URLs, device IDs or reflection writing, and use no analytics cookies. Private account and report pages do not send browser analytics events. Hosting providers process normal connection logs separately.
• Advertising data. If advertising is enabled, our ad partners (such as Google AdSense) may set cookies and collect data to show relevant ads. See “Advertising” below.

Before checkout, prepared calculator inputs stay in this browser so you can sign in. Starting checkout saves those inputs, your account ID, product and order status in our Supabase account storage. Stripe receives an order ID, account ID, product and email, and processes your payment details. New account checkout does not send birth inputs to Stripe. Older payment links may have carried an encoded report reference.

Sign in to Your reports to reopen a purchase. Refunded reports lose online access. Deleting your account removes its active report inputs and online report access; download reports first. Stripe may retain payment records separately. Clearing browser site data removes the prepared local copy.

If you choose to include historical weather in a report, your browser sends the selected calendar date and a geographic search area around the birthplace coordinates to NOAA’s public archive, followed by station-record requests. NOAA also receives normal connection information such as your IP address. We do not send your name, birth time, reflection writing, or payment details in this lookup.

The retrieved station record stays in the open report and any PDF you choose to save. Weather is not requested until you choose the lookup. Nearby daily station records are not exact conditions at your birth place and minute.

Your reflection space identifies where your writing is saved. In browser-only preview, questions, worksheets, chosen next steps, and check-ins stay in this browser. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to open them; clearing site data removes them. They do not automatically sync to another device.

If an encrypted local account is configured, those records are sent to the local account service and saved there under your account. This is a local preview storage option, not a promise of a hosted account or cross-device sync.

If the site offers an online reflection account, the account provider processes your email, password credentials, confirmation and recovery requests. Your worksheet records are saved under that provider account and can be opened after you sign in on another device. Passwords are handled by the account provider; we do not place access or recovery tokens in browser storage. We do not automatically copy browser-preview writing into an online account.

The current worksheet uses structured prompts and your own answers. Reflection writing is not sent to an external AI service, advertising service, or analytics provider. Birth details are optional for reflection; optional chart tools need their own calculator inputs.

You can export or delete reflection records from your reflection home. A downloaded export contains private writing and must be stored safely. Deleting reflections does not remove exports you downloaded or separate calculator and purchase records. Free local report review saves calculator inputs in this browser and creates no checkout request.

Deleting an online reflection account removes the active account and its active reflection record. Copies in the account provider’s security backups may remain until that provider’s normal backup-retention period ends. Deletion does not remove files you downloaded or records held by a separate payment provider.

To operate and improve the site, send the newsletter you asked for, respond to your messages, measure traffic, and — where enabled — display advertising that keeps the site free.

We may use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info.

We rely on trusted providers to run the site: hosting and analytics (Vercel), database storage for emails and messages (Supabase), email delivery (where configured), and advertising (Google). These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting us.
• Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to make a request.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the effective date above when we do.
